well that was random.

- Name something you think is ok to wear even though Lucky says it's out of style.

lucky? im not even sure who this is, so what they think doesnt really have much of an impact but anywho. overalls. love me some overalls. i still have a pair from high school, that i LOVE. they are almost 10 years old, so they are worn-out in all the right spots. ive had to redo their clasps like twice. idont wear them out to often but they are perfect for lazy, or fat days. :)

-Name something a random stranger can do to ruin your day.

i try not to let other folks ruin my day but when a stranger allows their pups to poo in my general walking area that gets on my nerves... and my shoes.

-Name one food that makes you vomit in your mouth at just the thought of it.

fried okra.

-What is one 'roll-up-the-windows-so-nobody-hears-me-listening-to-this-song' song of yours?

oo-ee-oo-ah-ah, ting tang walla walla bing bang. i jam it and i jam it loud whenever it plays on rowens burned disc. the windows are always up but im sure other can hear. day-o is another one of these(comes on right after oo-ee on rows disc) i sing and dance to this one with the movements from beetlejuice.

-Name a very embarrassing thing you got caught doing.

turning my nose ring. the actual act of turning isnt embarassing but it looks very similar to picking/digging/brain scratching. and im sure to strangers it looks disgusting but if the corkscrew gets turned funny in my nose it will cause a rather dramatic sneezing fit.

-Guess what, I'm coming to visit, where would you take me first in your town?

gotta go with Jessica on this one, we are headed to the beach!

-Name a charity/organization you proudly support?

breast cancer awareness.

-What's one thing you're looking forward to this week?

just every day in general. its never a boring day around here. although my oldest is gone for a week, so i am looking forward to his return!

-First concert you ever saw?

Skillet at Church Camp.

-What was your childhood stuffed animal's name?

Tina was a baby doll i carried around forever! the stuffing in her neck was compeletely worn out, so she was completely flop-headed.

Im a rebel.

note: This picture is totally illegal and possibly punishable by death, or at least a 5 minute whine fest about how taking photos of merchandise is not appropriate store behavior.

Worlds Greatest Dad.

there are billions of men in the world. millions of these billions are dads. every little girl thinks hers is the best. i know mine is.
my dad can do anything. hes a fishing genius, building his own tackle. could build a house, with working plumbing and electricity from the ground up. he could make any booboo go away with a kiss and few soft words(or a wad of chewing tobacco.. ever heard of cow ants?). loves me for me and believes in me, no matter how many times i screw up. he taught me to ride a bike and handed me my first camera. we butted heads like no tomorrow, but mostly because we are just alike; strong willed, bull headed, always think know we are right. i got my red hair from my daddy, the freckles too. im named after him and i have his easy going spirit. i also share his love of C.O.P.S. (the tv show), tinkering, motorcycles and eating. me and my dad can sit and talk for hours about everything, or nothing in particular. we can also sit in complete silence and just enjoy each others company. the way my dad looks at my children, his grandboys, makes me melt. Rowen is his little buddy, and Kai is his little redhead. almost everytime i talk to my dad he says "hows my buddy(rowen)? Kai still have his red hair?''.  his real laugh is a treasure. its seldom heard, but when it is it can make me smile for days.

as of late it seems my dad has had a little competition.

meet Matt, my husband. he can make our sons laugh with just a look. hes super strong, carrying me and my big ol belly to bed when my ankles were swollen and i was at my biggest. he can sing like a super star and knows how to get Rowen amped up for a big day of hockey. he even taught the little guy how to trip the bigger ones that were bullying him on the ice. Rowen wants to be just like him, he does everything daddy does. hes learned to play his video game, sits like him, talks him, cheers for the canes, loves daddys songs. Rowen is a mini Matt. Kai adores him too, cooing and ga-ga-ing over every little face Matt makes. Kai doesnt seem like he is going to be quite as wound up as them two but i can see by the way he looks at Matt he absolutely adores him. i came home late the other night to all three of them in their underwear, arms stretched out above their heads, sound asleep in our bed. God has truely blessed me with two beautiful boys and a wonderful husband they call Daddy.

on another note i would like to congratulate my twin brother and his wife on their wonderful news and wish Michael a Happy First Fathers Day!

having all these  amazing men in my life makes me one lucky gal!
Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads out there!

unda pressure

so what do i write about today? nothing came to mind, as talkative as i am, as many things as i have to say, i was drawing a blank.
and then it hit me:   GOOGLE
so now i wasnt drawing a blank anymore, it was overload. i could dedicate a blog to my boys, the hubby, the color of my toenails. then there are all the memes: thursday thunks, word boggle thursday,  thirsty thursdays, thankful thursdays... aaaagh!

blogging is a scary world, that i could get wrapped up in for hours. and i just dont have that kind of time right now.

maybe i will find some inspiration while im out and about running errands.

established bloggers, what do yall do when you have nothing, or just to many topics, to write about?

Mommy Knows It All

here are a few things ive learned since becoming a mom.

*we really do have eyes in the backs of our heads.
''mom how did you know i was putting that army guy in my nose?''

*peanut butter gets gum out of hair
              trust me.

*NEVER EVER leave children alone with the following:  gum; scissors; elmers glue; sharpie markers...  themselves.

*frogs arent as gross as you might think.

*even if your child needs 167862185 stitches to fix the damage they just caused themselves;
smile. never let them see you worried.

*be silly.

*censor yourself. you never know when little ears are listening.  you do not want to have to explain why your child knows all of the latest gossip.

* allow them to eat their food off a plate like a puppy. pat their heads when they finish all of it.

* banana splits are a perfectly acceptable dinner, every now and again.

i have learned alot since becoming a mom way back in 2005. i think i am a better person for the stuff i know today. i am nicer to people because i want to set an example. i act silly because i want my kids to enjoy their childhood. i catch frogs, because face it, frogs are cool. i bite my tongue, i work hard, im an honest person, i try to eat healthy, and treat people with repsect. there are little eyes watching me everyday and little brains learning right from wrong. if i dont teach them who will?

Mrs Dietz

What did your mom teach you, that is still with you today?

And so it begins...

after looking at several other blogs i have discovered that mostly everyone has a beginning blog, where they ramble on and on about themselves. heres mine.

About my home...

i am married to the biggest kid you will ever meet. we have two amazing little boys, Rowen and Malakai. Row(5years), is the spitting image of his dad, walks, talks and acts just like him. Kai(5months) is all me though, got the Register chin and carrot colored hair.

the walls of our small apartment OOZE testosterone. including the 3 men in my life, there is also Chewy and Boss, our pups, Big Daddy, our dwarf bunny and 5 fish. not sure if any of the fish carry double x's but one can hope.

i am outnumbered by gender, but it goes deeper than that. i am the only Gator fan  in a house of Canes fans. Boss had a gator sweater but he ripped it to shreds. even the fish are orange and green. while i am consoling my hubby because UF beat the U yet again, i smile inside.

i am also not a skilled gamer. Rowen kicks my tail and laughs at me about it. Matt sometimes lets me win, but that just pisses me off more. Kai is well on his way to being a gamer, loves playing with the buttons on dads remote, and can sit and watch Call Of Duty without fussing.

About me...
  • i am a blog stalker. im a nosy kinda person so blogging is perfect for me.
  • i do not captalize when i should. im okay with that.
  • i love photography.
  • i hate feet.
  • i am a nail polish addict.
  • i like my freckles, but i secretly hope they all grow together so i can be tan.
  • idiots on the road make me cuss.
  • even though i say i want a little girl, i really have no clue what i would do with her if i ever got her.
  • i sleep-talk.

About the blog...

this blog is gonna be full of all kinds of crap. everything from Rowen-isms to what im cooking tonight for dinner. later i hope to look back on this blog and remember funny things my boys did, how much fun we had with them growing up, and random other little things that we sometimes forget, that will make us smile when we remember.
